Carbon Towers are a high concentration of activated carbon offering in the region of 3000 times more carbon than corresponding activated carbon filter elements.

They can be installed as a separate item at the end of an adequately pre filtered air line or following a desiccant compressed air dryer to comply with the requirement for food quality compressed air.

The activated carbon adsorption method is a proven solution for operational processes that depend on maximum reliability.  Oil aerosols can be separated out of the air stream using a classic activated carbon adsorber resulting in high compressed air quality with residual oil content of up to 0.003 mg/m³.
